The best ebook topic to write about is Non-fiction. Why not Fiction? When reading fiction, most people typically prefer to have a physical copy for their reading enjoyment. Also, those who read fiction prefer to read fiction written by popular and best selling authors. To the non-fiction reader it is the topic that most interests them most. As long as the eBook is informative and relevant, the non-fiction reader will read a topic by any author.

Search the New York Best Sellers List for eBook Topic Ideas.

Not sure what non-fiction topic to write about? Search the New York Times Best Seller's list for ideas! The books on the New York Best Sellers list are the most popular topics people are reading and are buying right now. Review the list of books and pick a topic from the list that you would like to write about. Amazon.com Top Selling List is also a good resource for popular eBook topics ideas.

Write an eBook Geared toward a Niche Hobby

Pick a niche hobby and write an eBook on topics that interest the hobbyist. For instance, you may choose to write eBooks for people who enjoy sewing their own clothes at home.
