If You Are Overweight You Are Likely Focusing On The Wrong Things In Your Life

The popular movie called "The Secret" bought the concept the Law of Attraction into mainstream consciousness. Although this concept has been around for a very long time it is not always referred to as the Law of Attraction as is often referred to as the workings of your subconscious mind. After all this is where all of our thoughts, feeling, emotions and self-beliefs are originate and are stored and these are what drives our actions (or inactions).

In simple terms what you put your focus on and think about the most in your life is what you create more of. If we have become overweight and are having trouble getting your slim, fit body back again it is very easy to tell what you are focusing on because the results show you. Your results are ALWAYS the answer to where your attention is placed.

So, if your results are like this:

• On-going weight gain • An overweight, unhealthy and unhappy body • Focus on bodyweight and diets • A diet filled with processed, dead foods • Eating low fat, low carb 'diet' type foods • You avoid exercise • Lethargy and little energy • Eating too much food overall • Little to no motivation to change anything • Destructive thought patterns• Misinformation about nutrition and dieting • Low self-esteem and self-confidence • Self-criticism • Plain old self-delusion

Then these are exactly things that have allowed you to become stuck in that overweight body as these are the things you are putting your focus on.

To reverse this so you can finally lose weight and reclaim that slim, fit, healthy body your focus would need to change to....

• How you enjoy getting your butt back into the kitchen and preparing whole food meals • How you enjoy trying out new recipes and using your creativity to cook delicious meals• How you enjoy eating this way as it gives you so much more energy • How good you will feel after you become unstuck from the body you don't like very much • How you enjoy your structured proper exercise program • How you enjoy how that exercise makes you feel and how it releases stress and anxiety• How good you will feel when you can get back into smaller sized clothing • All of the good feelings you will feel when you are doing the right things and taking healthy actions (healthy eating and proper exercise) and the excess fat is melting away • How much better you feel when you are treating yourself with kindness and the respect you deserve

...then when you think this way you create more of the same - all the good stuff. Not only will you lose weight and KEEP IT OFF but you will create all of the good feelings that go with it so you feel 'alive' again.

You won't get this though if you only focus on the 'outer' actions (how you eat and exercise) while ignoring the 'inner' your mind programming. Without changing your thoughts, emotions and self-beliefs you will continue to self-sabotage yourself time and time again no matter how many diets or exercise programs you begin.

To get the long term results you desire you need to address your inner mind programming first and foremost and get rid of the 'junk'. I mean you don't really want to continue 'losing weight' for the rest of your life, do you? You really want to get it off and keep it off, right?
