Prep Volleyball Ranks USC Trojans Volleyball Women Number One in Top 30 Recruiting Class

With six of the country's top high school players including four outside hitters, one libero and one middle blocker making up USC's 2010 incoming freshmen class, the Lady Trojans are expected to make quite an impact in women's college volleyball for the next four years.

Below is a breakdown of the newcomers and a very short list of some of their accomplishments.

Falyn Fonoimoana is an outside hitter from Mira Costa High School and was a 2010 finalist for Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 selection. A very few of her other accomplishments include:

-Ranked as the No. 1 high school senior in the nation by Prep Volleyball-Named as a finalist for the Prep Volleyball National Player of the Year-Was named to the 2009 All-CIF Southern Section first team-Was named the 2009 Daily Breeze Player of the Year-Was the 2007 National Sophomore of the Year by Prep Volleyball -Named the 2007 California State Finals Most Valuable Player

Kirby Burnham is an outside hitter hailing from Newport Harbor High School and was an entrant in the 2010 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50.

The Prep Volleyball All-American led her team to the 2009 CIF-SS Division 1-AA Championship where she received All-CIF Southern Section first team honors. Her additional accomplishments include:

-Became the Most Valuable Player in the CIF Division I State championship match -Was a member of the 2009 Orange County Register All-County Team-Was named as a member of the Daily Pilot Dream Team in 2008-Was named as a member of the Daily Pilot Dream Team in 2009

Ranked as the number one libero in the country by Prep Volleyball, Natalie Hagglund attended La Costa Canyon High School where she was a San Diego Section Division I champion and garnered 2009-10 Under Armour All-American first team honors. Her other accomplishments include:

-Named as the 2010 Scholar Athlete of the Year -Became a member of the 2009 North County Times First Team-Garnered 2008-09 San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Team honors -Became a member of the 2008 California Challenge All-Tournament Team-Was voted the Most Valuable Player at the 2008 California Challenge -She received First Team honors from the 2007 All-CIF San Diego County section, San Diego Union Tribune and North County Times.

For three years Sam Hirschmann played on the Marymount High School varsity volleyball team where she was an outside hitter who helped her team win three straight Sunshine League championships. She also earned the following awards:

-ESPN Rise CalHiSports Girls' State Athlete of the Week -Received All-Sunshine League first team honors as a junior-Received All-Sunshine League first team honors as a senior

Outside hitter Alexis Olgard attended Mead High School in Spokane, Washington. Last summer Alexis was a member of the 2009 U.S. Women's Junior National Team. Some of her other accomplishments include:

-2009 Gatorade State Player of the Year-2009 Inland Northwest Junior Female Athlete of the Year -A finalist for the Prep Volleyball National Player of the Year-2010 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection -2009 4A State Championship Tournament Most Valuable Player

Sara Shaw is an outside hitter who attended Westlake High School where she was a member of the 2009 U.S. Women's Junior National Team and was voted the 2009 Gatorade State Player of the Year.

Sara was also:

-Rated No. 11 nationally by Prep Volleyball-Was a member of the 2009-10 Under Armour All-America First Team
