Reading the Mind of Your Customers Through Video Conferencing

April 05, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 126

Understanding the demands and taste of your clients will help you giving them what they want. For any businessman, customer is like god. The more the number of satisfied customers, the more is the profit. A business grows with the word of mouth so you tend to spend a lot on advertisement. In today's competitive world where the viral publicity is the latest thing, you can't rely fully on the traditional ways of spreading you business.

You need to put in a personal touch by reaching your prospective clients and share a word about the kind of work you are doing. I know it is not possible to travel to so many places in a short time to meet your clients, but you can call them for virtual meetings through the video conferencing which is as good as a personal meeting.

Now the question is whether this way of meeting your clients is as effective as a personal meeting and will it make the same impact on them. I would like to give you one very interesting example here as I think this question bothers us all at one stage or the other. When I started using web-conferencing as a way to reach my colleagues, I was very apprehensive as I didn't know a thing about computers except for surfing the net. But as a work from home employee, I didn't have a choice so per force I stepped in the world of visual collaboration. And to my surprise I felt at ease with this amazing technology as I could see my co-workers and talk to them at the same time. Believe me the experience was out of the world and now it has become a way of life for me.

It will surely help you in understanding your clients better and meeting in their demands by giving you an insight of the mind through the awesome visual treat which will help you in the following ways:

The face to face interaction

The video conferencing software brings the customer to you for a face to face interaction which will help in breaking the ice. The first impression can make or break your deal, so be cautious of the way you present yourself. Don't be in a hurry to end the conversation, give time to the other person to express his needs, remember it's an interaction.

The life-like image

You will have a high-definition picture of the person you are talking to, with the focus on all details.

Multi-point communication

You can talk to one or more than one client at the same time through multi-point communication and can hold a conference to promote your product.

Uninterrupted discussion

The video conferencing software gives the control in your hand and gives you the freedom to have an uninterrupted discussion anywhere anytime.

Defining each and every movement and gesture with an eagle's eye

The gestures and the hand movements tell a lot about the person you are talking to, that's why personal meetings are considered better than online meetings. But the state of art video conferencing software will give you an eagle's eye to judge the person by his body language.
