Industrial Cable Cutters And Strippers Increase Productivity

June 09, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 187

One of the biggest decisions a person can make is the decision to take an idea, a concept, and turn it into reality. When it comes to taking a product that's a concept and making it real, one of the largest challenges is automating the process of creating it. At a certain point, a person neither has the time nor the patience to hand build each and every item sold. Hand tools and manual labor only takes a person so far, then it's time to start thinking about automating the process.

Luckily, there are many smaller sized industrial machines that can take menial tasks like stripping wires and cables, cutting tubing, shrink tubing electrical connections, etc, and automate them. While there can be quite an initial investment, the increased production capacity will pay for itself rather quickly. Most entrepreneurs that are involved in the creating of tangible products can benefit from all of these items.

Items with electrical connections almost always have wires connecting different switches / relays / solenoids / circuit boards / etc and these items will typically need to be connected via wires and cables. All of these wires and cables will need to be stripped at the ends, and any person that has dealt with using manual wire cutters and cable strippers will tell you the same thing: doing this task takes significant time, it can result in repetitive motion injury over time, and it can be very tedious. There are machines, however, that make this task much easier. All a person needs to do is push a cable into a machine, hit a button or pull a lever, and the stripping takes place automatically. These machines provide consistent results and save the end user significant time.

In addition, if a person uses hydraulics, air lines, tubing, or cable of any other variety, there are dereelers and tubing cutters to make their lives significantly easier. Dereelers are large machines, either manually operated or automated, that allow a person to load a spool of material and pull it and cut it as he or she sees fit. When it comes to cutting, there are tubing / cable cutters that automatically measure lengths of material and cut them to length without any operator input required. These two items used in conjunction can cut countless labor hours and headaches off of a project.

That is just a small sampling of the items a person can use to automate a production process or to make it easier and faster. There are many machines out there that a person can use to simplify the manufacturing process, and over time these machines can save a person or a company significant amounts of revenue and push much larger quantities of items out into the market.
