The Top Three Ways to Save Time As a Part-Time Internet Marketer

February 26, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 125

Let me guess, as a fledgling Internet Marketer you still have a full-time job? Whether you started in IM as a way to escape the rat race, or just as a way to make some extra money, maximising your time is all important.

If you are honest with yourself and take into account all your other commitments you will probably be left with around two hours a day to devote to this business. The idea then is to maximise this time to its full potential and to do this you will have to save yourself some time. Here are my top three ways to achieve this.

1) Focus on one thing and stick to it - Internet Marketing like most things has a plethora of different avenues of new techniques to learn, the latest greatest product to buy and acres of material to read through. My advice here is to ignore them all. When you have more time you can look at them, but for now don't. Decide which avenue you want to go down, be it affiliate marketing, membership site, PDF writing, Kindle e-Books, and stick to it. This way you will maximise your time and not waste it flitting from one thing to another never finishing or seeing the money from any of them.

2) Organise your time - You only have two hours, so what are you going to do with it? You have chosen your product and your niche and you have decided on your traffic method. Now you need a plan of action. For example if you have chosen article and forum marketing, spend the first hour writing and publishing articles and the second hour posting on popular forums in your niche. Write out your plan for the next 30days and stick to it.

3) Pay Someone to Do it - I know not the idea, you are supposed to be making money, not spending it. Think about it though you only have two hours, don't waste it doing tasks that you could pay someone else to do. For example on you can pay someone $5 to submit your site to 50 social bookmarking sites. This would give you a big traffic boost. It would take you at least 4 hours to do this yourself, especially if you had to set up logins for each and every one.

At sites like and you can pay someone to setup a website for you. If you are new to this and do not know how to setup websites this could save you hours. Hours which you could then put to good use making money.

Internet Marketing is hard work and can be even tougher if you are holding down a full-time job. However by using these three ways to maximise what time you do have you can make money. Even if it means making a small initial investment.
