Tenders Writers - Making The Grade

December 11, 2011 | Comments: 0 | Views: 94

We've all been there at some point or another - writer's block. Annoying isn't it. We aren't machines so we can't just keep churning out endless amounts of words. Sentence after sentence. At some point we're going to come unstuck and hit a brick wall. But if this has happens to you at some point then you'll know that it will pass and you'll soon be back writing back. Perhaps even stronger than ever. The thing to remember is that to become one of the best tender writers in the world you need to keep learning and doing things other than writing. Learn about business, different topics, find the relationships between different subjects, research industry sectors, work for a range of different clients and, ultimately, just keep gaining experience until you reach a point when you can just write endlessly about a wide range of topics.

There is much more to tender writing than this though. It is important to remember that if you want to be one of the best tender writers that there ever was you will need to live, breathe and sleep tender writing. Being a professional isn't always just a nine til five occupation. You will need to keep going. Often against all odds. Even when competition is very fierce and you feel like giving up. Tender writing is difficult, it takes time to learn, experience comes after time and it is not easy to carry out the many tasks that contribute to producing a potentially winning tender document.

Tender writers know that they must give it their all if they are going to succeed in a profession where you are often only really as good as your last success story. If you think about it, no-one is going to hire a tender writer who doesn't have an excellent track record. Lucrative jobs will be referred onto you by past clients who are happy with what you have done for them. It is your job to make sure that these contracts really work in your favour by treating your referrals like gold dust. Do not mess up on these jobs or the referrer's reputation will be at stake and if you let them down after they have recommended you then they would have to be a fool to recommend you ever again.

So happy tender writing and as you strive to be one of the best tender writers remember to keep learning and gaining experience and you will be onto a winning formula that works for you!
