Discover The Wonderful World Of Teas With Tea Of The Month

February 26, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 213

A tea of the month club sounds a bit like a book club and in a way it is. You get to sample different varieties of teas and similar to a book club, you get to know things you wouldn't usually confront yourself with. If you are set in your ways, this isn't for you, but if you enjoy a challenge and want to educate yourself, well then this is the perfect opportunity. You can only grow and prosper, as they say.

This is how it works. You can easily sign up for a monthly package on one of the many tea websites. Sometimes you will find actual stores that have this opportunity as well. Do your research carefully as there are lots of different ways to do this and you will definitely find one that will be a perfect fit for you. You can sign up for a certain number of months. If you don't like their service, simply cancel and find another site that will give you what you want. For example, if you really don't like herbal teas, make sure your package only includes black, green, Oolongs and chai teas. There really is something for everyone, you just have to be diligent and persevere until you find the right choice.

Then the magic happens - a package arrives every month giving you the opportunity to sample different teas. It would be a good idea to actually jot down what you think of each tea when you first taste it. Give yourself time to smell the aroma and enjoy the taste. I usually do this in a Word document but you could easily put a note in the actual container. This way, you can easily serve different teas for different occasions.

Not only are you educating yourself, but you can share your knowledge (and your tea) with friends and family. Why not instigate a monthly tea party when you invite friends, family and neighbors over to sample your wares. You can jazz things up by offering dainty little sandwiches cut into fingers (with the crusts cut off) - cream cheese and cucumber, egg salad, ham and mustard are all good choices. You could also make some mini muffins or offer small slices of a cake. Everyone will enjoy themselves.

If you want to take the plunge and sign up for a Tea of the Month club, then make the most of it for yourself and for your friends and family.
