Move On - Profound Success Principle

April 23, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 168

Life has many road blocks, stop-signs, detours and unfulfilled expectations, but if where you're going is of great importance, you'll find a way to move on. There's no straight path to success, therefore prepare yourself for any obstacle that will hinder your progress. You possibly have heard the old adage that says, "Where there is a will there's a way". As we continue in this article, I wish to alert everyone that there is no progress in idleness and inactivity. The determination to move on is the profound success principle in any undertaking. Consider the following factors if success is truly your heart's desire.

1. The advancement in life is enriched or hindered by the daily actions that you're engaged in.

Apostle Paul said, "Ye did run well, who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you" (Galatians 5: 7-8, KJV). As we can see here, Apostle Paul noted that they were moving on fine in their faith and wondered out loud who or what must have hindered them.

In the true Christian experience, there are many hurdles to jump and if you want an excuse not to move on in your walk with the Lord, you'll find a truckload. There's a need to keep your focus on Jesus because of an avalanche of distractions that can have debilitating effect on your progress.

2. Learn to protect the liberty that you have in Jesus Christ.

If you don't protect it you can be carried away or encumbered by the vices that surround you. The scripture says, "For, brethren, ye have been called in to liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another" (Galatians 5: 13, KJV). Our liberty should be guided by the spirit of consideration as we move on to fulfill the destiny that's ahead of us.

There is the call to provoke each other to love and good works, not just to move on with no regards to those whom the Lord has placed around us.

3. We must watch out for distractions and move on wisely, laying hold on eternal life.

Daily interactions need to be guided by wisdom and submission to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. The desire should be to move on to the higher calling of God through Jesus Christ. It's with this mindset that we can properly identify and avoid all the hindrances and distractions.

4. Be humble enough to accept responsibility of the mistakes, short-coming and wrong decisions if there's any seriousness to make any meaningful progress.

You can stop to move on and play the blaming game but I guarantee you, it doesn't pay well.Let's take stock on the things that impeded our onward move or progress in life. One of the better ways to do this is to begin where it's most important. "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you except ye be reprobates" (2 Corinthians 13:5, KJV). Proper life's perspective demands self-examination. This must be true and honest with the readiness to make amends.

Move on in faith; consider what the devil may throw on your path. Walking in diligence will safe-guard hurtful situations and keep you on course.
