Being Whole and Your Sales Presentaion

April 11, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 148

We have heard it over and over in our personal lives when looking for the right situation.

"Once you become healthy alone, you will attract a healthy mate"

"When you don't NEED someone to make you happy, you will find someone that makes you happy"

"You need to be Whole to attract the right person"

So, if these statements are true, and I am going to tell you, the masses believe they are.

Why can't you apply it to your Professional life? Yes, your PROFESSIONAL LIFE.

Lets look at the statements again and see what they tell us.

  1. "Once you become healthy alone, you will attract a healthy mate" is it because you know yourself? You know what you are capable of? What you are deserving of? What is acceptable and what is not?
  2. When you don't NEED someone to make you happy, you will find someone that makes you happy. Is it because you don't have that desperate energy? You are not clinging on or smothering them? Clingy Clingerson?
  3. "You need to be Whole to attract the right person" Whole to me is a person with a good amount of Balance, in home, work, spirit, play etc... they operate in line with their values, inspired to greet the day and embraces its opportunities.

So let me ask you again. Why can't you apply this to your Professional life? I am here to tell you, you CAN! Lets rephrase this whole thing to suit our sales presentations.

  1. Once you become healthy, you will attract healthy guests. It is called, experience, professionalism, self esteem and confidence (Mental note: DO NOT CONFUSE EGO with what I just described)
  2. When you don't NEED someone to make you happy, you will find someone that makes you happy. This is the opposite of COMMISSION BREATH!
  3. You need to be Whole to attract the right guest Whole means, they operate in line with their values, in an authentic state, inspired to greet the day and embrace opportunities.

Why not apply that which you value, believe and practice in your personal life to your professional life! The comments at the start of this piece were probably not foreign to you, yet you may be struggling to put the same beliefs to work in your professional life. Think about that for a second. What's the problem here? Where is the resistance coming from? Answer that for yourself and you can really start to experience your sales opportunities differently. Try it, what do you have to lose? At the very least, you will have fun and be on a great path to healthy and whole.
