How to Use Natural Keyword Optimization for SEO

Search Engine Optimization...the phrase alone can bring about grunts of pain and frustration from even the most experienced online marketers. And if you are anything like me, you'd just as soon not have to worry about it. Unfortunately, it's one of those things that you cannot just brush under the carpet and pretend it doesn't exist. If you don't tackle learning something about SEO, it may rear its ugly head and attack in the form of your article or website not getting high ranks in the search engine.

What if I told you that SEO isn't as difficult as you think? What if I said there is a way to get high rankings on Google through natural SEO, without having to spend countless hours doing keyword searches, or figuring out the exact formula for how many times your keyword needs to be used, where it needs to be used, and so on? You'd probably let out a great big sigh of relief, wouldn't you?

It's called natural keyword optimization and all it involves is you writing quality content for PEOPLE, not for Google, AND without worrying about how many times your keyword is used. Using natural keyword optimization is pretty easy especially when your article is written around a tightly niched theme. You will automatically (or naturally) be using your keywords in your article anyway. You want to have your keywords running through your mind but not be so focused on them that it distracts you from writing a good article.

I'm not saying keywords aren't important. They are. But what's more important is how you use them. Pick one to three keywords to use in your article. Put your keyword(s) in the title of your article or post. Also include it in the body several times, but don't overdo it. Natural keyword optimization will allow you to rank on Google much more effectively by targeting your readers with good content, a naturally enjoyable reading experience and can result in a high click through rate.

You see, when you are overly concerned with stuffing your articles or blogs with a bunch of keywords you could ultimately be self-defeating. People read your articles and blogs because of the quality of the content within. If you are writing with the idea of just getting high search engine rankings and you're stuffing your article with keywords instead of informative content that the reader can understand and appreciate, then your article will just annoy your audience. They will probably leave, and there's not a good chance they'll come back. So what good are the high rankings at that point? I probably don't need to answer that. Google doesn't like over-optimization anyway, and while having a keyword-stuffed article or post may initially get you a high ranking, it probably won't last long.

Don't forget to place links to your articles and blogs in front of interested readers! Need I say Facebook? Create a fan page around your niche and every time you write a blog or get an article published, provide your fans with a link to the site. You want to create backlinks to your website or article in a natural way, and you do this by introducing your work to interested parties.

With natural keyword optimization you will remember the topic of your article, a few keywords you use several times, and who your audience is. Write with these things in mind, not Google, and you will likely see lasting results. Remember, it is more important to please your reader and form a sense of trust and rapport with them.
