The first step is to write down what you want to achieve. Don't be afraid to think big. Think about whatever it is that you want to achieve in life and write it down. Something about seeing your goals in print makes them real.

Now, you need to figure out what steps you need to take to reach your goals. These should be small steps. If you need to lose 100 pounds, you cannot do it all at once. You lose one pound at a time. The same is true of any big project. You break it down into small steps. Each of those steps will become a short-term goal.

Every time you reach one of your short-term goals, you will have succeeded and that's how to improve confidence. Each time you are able to complete one of those small steps, you will feel more capable of completing all of them. You will also be more motivated to keep at it.

There are two parts to any conversation: the talking part and the listening part. Most people are good at talking, but they are not so good at listening. Women, in particular, like to be heard and understood.

Both men and women like it when someone seems interested in them. You might ask about their hobbies, their goals, their career, their education, etc. You could ask what movies they like or what books they read. The more you listen to them, the easier it will be to talk to them.
