May 10, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 136

The amazing island of Cuba offers some of the best diving opportunities in the Caribbean. With crystal clear warm waters, good currents, unspoilt reef systems and a vast array of marine life the diving here is exceptional. Sharks, whale sharks, rays, morays, giant grouper, colourful schools of fish, beautiful corals and sponges and much more is on offer when you take a diving holiday to Cuba.

Cuba has the second largest barrier reef system in the world which sits in clear warm waters. Sea temperatures range from 25C in January to 29C in August. Divers of all levels will love the fascinating macro-life, soft corals, underwater caves, walls, wrecks, cenotes and swim-throughs which together with the natural beaches, islands and cays make a diving holiday to Cuba just perfect.

Swim with friendly grouper, watch giant morays at play, be amazed at groups of giant sting ray whose wing spans exceed 12ft and marvel at over 1000 species of fish and 160 species of sponges. Don't forget your camera as the corals, sponges and macro-life, including anemones, arrow crabs, flamingo tongues, colourful tunicates and nudibranches are a photographers dream!
