Outsourced Telemarketing Gives You An Outsourced Database

In many B2B industries, information can play a key role in impressing your client and getting the attention you need for B2B lead generation. It can even tell you a little bit more about yourself and who your software products appeal to the most. Meanwhile, it also tells you the type of prospects you want to avoid and cross out your list (be it due to competitors, lack of interest, being of a certain industry etc).

That can be quite convenient if you're looking for accounting software leads of the B2B variety. See unlike other forms of B2B software (such as those for SCM or HR), the accounting software industry occasionally has companies that market to individual consumers.

If you can acquire the right information, you can automatically create a refined list of prospects without even having to contact them first. You'd already know which numbers or email addresses belong to interested companies and easily discard those belonging to private individuals.

If you act on the wrong information however, you're not only just going to go in circles, you'll end up annoying a lot of people. Your telemarketing calls will be considered invasions of privacy whilst your emails will automatically be marked as spam. In case you end up trying both, all you'll end up with is a bad reputation on and off the internet.

Still, there must be some reasons why some companies insist on getting their information from scratch. First of all, it might take a considerable amount of time. Googling email addresses and scouring phone books are just tips of the iceberg when it comes to compiling business contact data. Secondly, you would want to get as much of it as you can. Qualified leads may come in few numbers but they won't come at all if you don't have a lot to qualify in the first place. Thirdly, the process of qualifying can be expensive in of itself. You have to train personnel to be careful not to send out the wrong message. Even if a prospect seems open at first, they'll close themselves to you if you end up making mistakes like trying to make a sale right off the bat or giving them too much information. In fact, it doesn't matter what method you use. Both offline and online forms of lead generation will fail you if you don't dedicate some time mastering it yourself. Sadly, experience like that is just something money can't buy.

With the high cost of qualifying, it's no surprising that some people forsake the costs of gathering data. However, that doesn't make it less of a mistake.

So what do you do? If qualifying leads already breaks your bank and comes with a learning curve that could eat up loads of your time, how are you going to get good data so it would at least be more effective?

The good news is, you don't have to invest too much in either data or qualifying. Using outsourced telemarketing already grants you both! On one hand, a telemarketing company has a large enough database for you to act upon. On the other, you have trained professionals who can do that qualifying for you without the drama of making common, inexperienced mistakes.

So what are you waiting for? Outsource their lead generation services today and outsource their database along with them.
