What Do You Want From Your Life?

What do you want from your life? It is a question that we all ask ourselves at one time or another? I have always believed in my dreams becoming a reality and so should you. Dreams are just a way of your sub-conscience trying to get you to realize just how much more there is for you to do and achieve.

All fine and dandy so you have dreams now what? The easiest and most logical (I know those of you who know me personally just went did she say logic? Really?) yes logical step by step way to reach your dreams is just to write them down in a different way.

You still with me? Okay, couple of things you need. Vision, Paper, The ability to count to a few numbers and simplicity. Let's start with a basic dream............

Write it down ____________________My dream is to:_____________________________ Good, that wasn't so hard right? Here I'll start you off with one of my heart burning desires; My dream is to get one of those great big RV's and travel this beautiful country that I live in. so it looks like this:

RV=travel=retirement=FUN now what? Wrote it down. Now write how you are going to do that? A dream is really a set of smaller dreams(called achievable goals) to reach your main goal.

Goal/Dream = Rv I have started telling everyone and any one who will listen that is what I want to do when I retire. I want to have enough money to just go be a snow-bird from January until may May(I live in the Chicago area want to go someplace warm, don't mind the snow here it's pretty, but don't like the cold).

Need a driver?=My boyfriend is all for it! This was one of my obstacles I want one of those great big yummy things called an Rv but how the heck am I going to drive it? Well, I am glad to know that God answered my prayers and sent me a driver and a wonderful man(Thanks Lord)!

Let's outline this: Goal/Rv

1. Retire with enough money to enjoy life

2. Have a plan to make the money to retire and enjoy life

3. Do a vision board of the RV that you want, get the pictures, check on line, see you and your family in it, put your family's picture with you waving out of the window or standing next to it.

4. Determine the amount you think you will need and multiply by 100(fun money)

5. Find a job you love and that loves you back. One that pays you what you are truly worth x 10.

6. Not sure that you will find that working for a stranger but maybe take that leap into working for yourself and expanding your skills to help others learn theirs.

7. Pick your first place to go.

8. Plan for your animals to go with, currently I have a dog and a cat. Just think about what provisions you will need, dog/cat food, dishes, litter box, people food/dishes, satellite dish so if you want to work a bit you can. Clothes for all season's, especially warm ones like shorts and tees and a few sexy dresses so you can go out on the town.

9. Decide if you are going to tow a car so when you stop someplace fun you can go explore in something that doesn't use so much gas.

10. Make sure you have someone watching your house, or rent it out for a short-term lease.

11. If you are like me and feed the wildlife, make sure you have someone continue to do that while you are gone, family comes in all sizes, shape and legs, 2, 4, wings and tails.

12. Have your mail meet you at a certain location.

13. Plan a course, take your time it's okay if you stop along the way and enjoy the extra sites, no worries, no rush, just a nice beautiful peaceful day.

So, write it down, check, now break it down into smaller goals, check-check, break those down into even smaller goals, check-check-check make them EASY TO DO. Every week do a big goal towards your main goal, every day do a smaller goal. It may be as simple as writing to your friends and saying, guess what I want to do when I retire......I want to get an RV......

Do you see, this stays on my mind, it is always there present driving its way forward. Everyday I do something that brings that dream into a reality and every day you should be doing that as well!

It is really easy, just try it, write your dream out, break it down into a series of small obtainable goals that can be achieved on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, color code them, and guess what!! Before you know it, you have reached your dreams and made them real! NSD=Never Stop Dreaming!

God Bless You in ALL Your Endeavors,
