Has Your Retirement Investment Account Been Growing? If your investment goal is to accumulate wealth and increase income, and if any of the above statistics apply to you, the past several years have dealt you a serious investment setback. Basically, your investment account and your net worth have declined; if you are among the lucky few investors whose account has not decline, your account has probably broken-even.

The realistic explanation of this problem is that the traditional investment vehicles that worked for you in the past are not working now. In fact, they have not been working for the past three years. In order for you to get back onto the road of gains and increases, you need to add a new tool to your investment toolbox.

Have you Considered Promissory Note Investing? You should seriously consider investing part of your retirement account in a well secured promissory note that yields you 6.5% per year to 8.5%. Promissory notes are not a new invention; in fact they have been widely used since biblical times; they were in use before banking, as we now know it, was invented.

What is a Promissory Note?A promissory note is a financial instrument. Its investment value is based upon three factors: 1. Ability to produce monetary returns; 2. Ability to be marketable; 3. Ability to be self-liquidating. It is an unconditional promise to pay a fixed amount of money, with or without interest; it is payable on demand or at a definite time; and it does not state any other undertaking or duty in addition to the payment of money.

What are The Benefits of Note Investing? The interest rate is normally in the range of 6.5 % to 9.5% The interest rate is normally fixed for several years The interest rate can be structured for future adjustmentsThe repayment period, the life of the investment, is negotiable The monthly repayment amount is negotiable The investment can be collateralized (secured) by real estate The servicing of the loan can be done for you by a specialist You can know your borrower personally You can partner with other investors You can invest an amount that you feel comfortable with You can visit and inspect your collateral security personally Any of the loan terms can be adjusted with the cooperation of the borrower

Conclusion If your investing results during the past three years have been satisfactory, don't change anything. But, if your results have been disappointing, seriously consider what changes you can make to reverse these negative investing outcomes. Seriously consider what your options are today. Seriously consider promissory note investing as a way to boost your account's income and stability.
