Online Realtor Marketing

March 28, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 141

The Internet is here to stay, and realtors are clamoring to use this wonderful medium of communication to generate leads and increase sales by doing so. Online realtor marketing is definitely a broad topic to cover, although having a few tricks up your sleeve will definitely help you achieve success in this arena.

Online Realtor Marketing shares similar characteristics with traditional sales methods. The biggest difference is that it online realtor marketing reaches a much bigger audience than a listing in the local newspaper. Note, however, that there are also a lot of other realtors clamoring for a great following on their online properties. Thus a great challenge to overcome for your realtor marketing practice online would be getting the attention of your intended market.

Defining your niche would definitely be a step in the right direction. Refocus your efforts from the millions of users online to the market that you want to grab. In your experience as a realtor, what kind of clients are you comfortable working with?

Once you define your niche, build a powerful blog that addresses the concerns of that niche. It could include news about a particular location, a specific demographic, or a specific property type. This will make sure that you attract the right kind of attention relevant to your Realtor Marketing practice.

Before writing the content of your blog, pick out the right keywords for it. Keywords are very powerful tools that can have you moving up the search engines pretty fast. Strategist what keywords to use will make sure that your articles are easy to find online.

SEO Marketing is a subject for an entirely different article. This involves spreading the word about your online property (in this case, your blog) with different communities over the Internet. At this point, it would be wise to consult professionals about this.

Place your contact details on your blog. This will make sure that the people who view your posts (listings, blog entries, news updates and the like) will be able to get in touch with you for their concerns,

You have to know that people are using search engines to find what they need. Real estate is no exception to that. Everyday, hundreds of thousands of real estate queries are typed into Google, Yahoo! and Bing about real estate, all from people looking to buy or sell properties--in short, people are already looking for realtors. With that, you must understand that people are definitely already interested in your listings.

At this point, if you're doing everything properly to get your Realtor Marketing online, then you should already be generating leads passively. It is a slow process, but your readership (if you are diligent with responding to queries and posting articles) will increase and this is directly proportional to the number of leads that you will be generating.

Once you get the leads, make the calls, have your new clients make decisions and take action with the properties that they are eyeing. See? Not very different from throwing your first pitch in front of the client, is it? Online realtor marketing is simply a new medium, not a different game altogether.
