The Kindle is a relatively new device that is already making huge waves in the information publishing industry. Gone are the days where you had to go to the library to get a new book or wait until you could get to the book shop.

Now we have the Kindle a handheld device that lets you store as many digital versions of books, also known as an eBook which you can buy. Convenient instant and more engaging, Kindle books are currently surpassing the sale of traditional books at a rate of 1:2. As you would expect, there are a lot of people looking into how to make money with the Kindle and you can to if you get in early enough.

Not convinced? Let me give you a few examples of people who have learnt how to make money with Kindle and are crushing it right now. Amanda Hocking sold over 100,000 copies of her kindle books, Nathan Lowell sold over 4,000 copies in a single month. Ellen Fisher sold over 5,000 copies of her kindle books, J.A Konrath sells over 10,000 copies every single month. With an average of 70% royalties being paid to the author you can see the huge potential in this field.

So let's get to it, how can you cash in on this gold mine? I am going to give you three simple ways to do this.

1. Collect a series of niche cooking recipes and publish them on the Kindle platform. This is the simplest way to make money as recipes are not copy written. All you would need to do is find a collection of similar recipes such as Asian food, vegetarian food, vegan food etc. The best thing to do is to go for speciality niches such as wheat free and so forth. This can be a short collection 30-70 words and priced at between $2.99 and $9.99 and you will see a great return.

2. Find bloggers who have content already written and you can either offer to publish a collection of their work for a flat fee. And they keep all of the proceeds; this includes the cover design, formatting and so on. This can be done by visiting and looking for bloggers in the niche you intend to write in and approach them with your offer. This is a simple route as they already have content written and all you do is edit it. You can obviously outsource this and go to to get a cover done and an editor. You can even get it done at if and only if you go through and test the quality and speed of their work.

3. The final way is to do the same as in step 2, go to and find bloggers or do a Google search for experts in a particular niche. You can choose this niche based on the best sellers in Kindle and ask for a contributing article for a book you are writing. So if you find there are lots of books being sold surrounding leadership, then you would find a sub niche of leadership.

Say leadership for senior executives and ask at least 8 experts, bloggers, coaches. To contribute in exchange for exposure and a link back to their website. You keep all of the profits and they become a published author. You can then up sell them on having their own book published.
