Five Ways to Look Slimmer

For those who do not boast of a good shape and size, it becomes obvious to find alternatives, especially the plus size women. Here are a few tips to look slimmer if you are unhappy about your body fat.The tips that I am going to share with you, will only make you look slimmer, and are not the ways to lose weight. So if you can't do much about your body weight, try these tips while dressing up to look slimmer.

1. Choose clothes with the right fit. The most common mistake is to buy wrong sized clothes which fit badly. If you wear clothes that are less than what your body size is, you will definitely look fatter. Don't wear body hugging or skin tight clothes. Also it is important not wear clothes with the larger size. You will look bulkier and heavier. Understand your body shape and size and choose the right fit clothes.

2. All of us have some problem areas. Some have heavy hips, while others have too much fat on thighs. It is essential to identify what your problem areas are. Try wearing clothes that do not bring much attention to your weak spots. For people with heavy thighs, skin tight pants or trousers, or jeans is not advisable. And if you do wear these, try teaming them up with t-shirts and tops that are more in length so that they cover your thighs. If you have heavy hips, avoid wearing tops that end just above your hips.

3. Just like all of us have problem areas, we do have our strong and good features. Flaunt your good features of the body. If you have well toned arms, wear sleeveless clothes, so that more attention goes to your arms rather than the other parts. If you have well shaped shoulders and neck, wear attractive and big neck pieces to flaunt them. Accessories play a big role in making the entire outfit look different.

4. If you love BLACK, just go for it. Black looks classy and bold. It's an evergreen color and most importantly it makes you look lighter and slimmer. If you want to wear prints, choose the vertical ones. Horizontal lines and prints will make you look broad. Vertical lining and prints give an illusion of being taller thereby making you look slimmer.

5. Lastly, remember nobody is perfect. What you wear is important, but how you carry yourself is even more important. You best accessories are your confidence and smile. Don't be shy or apologetic about the way you look. Health wise it is important to shed those extra kilos, but till then try these ideas to feel and look better.
