Life, Existence And The Accounting System Of Both Life And Existence

June 12, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 143

Cause and effect is the main accounting system of life and existence. The rest of this article will just fill in the blanks left by this very first sentence. Sure, life is a game, and productive, fulfilling existence is what we are playing for. We are playing against everything that destroys us or leaves us unfulfilled. The other day, I was thinking about this fact as I was editing my last article on thinking big and I realized that an attitude is not only an attitude, but a philosophy that genuinely determines cause and effect in the life of anyone.

For example, to paraphrase Napoleon Hill and William Clement Stone and their works: A good attitude about life leads ultimately to good results and if you have a bad attitude, good luck. Because, reality works better when you have a good attitude about it without fear of temporary failure and just positive action. Let me explain: It does not matter what you do, until you get that experience after the first time, and even with first time "lucky" success, you will not know what you are doing until you have experience doing it.

If cause and effect was not the accounting system of life and existence, there would not be a working principle behind anything. Chaos would work easily, effortlessly and realistically. We all know that if principles were not working laws in a repeating way, nothing would work. But if chaos worked like I described, luck would be a genuine law of reality instead of what really does work.

Everything works according to principle and law. If it did not, then we could conjure and cheat everything like we want to all the time with ease without learning how to genuinely work and succeed at what we need and want to succeed at. In other words, we would always succeed at the first time and never need to earn anything or make ourselves better at what we do. It would be easy to conjure, trick and win. So, one thing that needs to be learned, understanding comes through learning. Without that understanding, we can genuinely succeed at nothing.

Sure, learning does not last forever, but it is a necessary step to full experience and knowledge without any dependence on luck, chance, superstition and gambling ultimately.

When I think about nonsense and luck, I think of the karate master that says after the student breaks the board on the first time with a kick from the foot: "Do it again just as well. Get some experience breaking many boards. Callous your foot with experience." This is simply a scene I saw on "Kung Fu Theater" as a boy, not actual experience. But it does make the point. To know is superior, to be lucky is not. Depend on definite knowledge, it will mostly not fail you. Luck, gambling and chance is where you take your chances especially on the first try without knowledge. Develop skill, it is the dean, chancellor and ruler of real power, even if you do not succeed sometimes, you know what effect you want and you will ultimately get it.

My name is Joshua Clayton, I am a freelance writer based in Inglewood, California. I also write under a few pen-names and aliases, but Joshua Clayton is my real name, and I write by that for the most part now. I am a philosophical writer and objective thinker and honest action taker. I also work at a senior center in Gardena, California as my day job, among other things, but primarily I am a writer.
