Are the Social Engineering Exploits of Leaders and Think Tanks Undermining Our Reality?

February 28, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 201

Over the years, I've read lots of books on Think Tanks, and policymaking groups in Washington DC and around the country. I've also been engaged as the founder of a think tank which happens to operate online putting together groups of thinkers and intellectuals to solve the problems that mankind continually creates for themselves, along with the government to claim to serve the people who keep making mistakes putting people in power to make bigger mistakes while they supposedly solve problems leading to more unintended consequences in that vicious cycle. Okay so, let's talk for a few moments shall we?

It seems disingenuous for a group of intellectuals to try to rearrange society and civilization in such a way to create this utopia they have in mind, and then to use trickery tactics and social engineering exploits to make it happen. Worse, because these think tanks and policy makers are so busy trying to engineer society to fit their vision of the world, and since they often agree and come from different political spectrums, all they do is fight, and confuse the bureaucracy in charge of running things on which direction our country is going.

In doing so they forget that our country is about freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for the people, and by the people, and is none of their business to rearrange our lives and society to fit their future fictitious notions of a grand utopia which cannot exist without the free will of the people. In other words they spend so much time telling us what we should want, and how to live our lives, that much of our society is confused. And each time a new group comes to power, there rearrange the whole thing again.

Indeed, I'm not sure about you, but that certainly doesn't sound fair to me. There have been far too many modifications on our society often starting in education, tax policy, and in various bureaucracies which have led our country on a course that quite frankly is off course from our intended destination, and those self-anointed leaders have caused a decrease in freedom, confused the masses, trampled the Constitution, and reengineered our society in negatively profound ways.

100s of millions of Americans have not gotten a fair shake at their life experience or been able to pursue their happiness during their time here on this planet. There are folks who have changed the course of history without the consent of the governed, and in the United States that's unacceptable because we are the government, and they have no business or right doing that. They have micromanaged our society, economy, education system, and everything else, and I would submit to you they have made grave mistakes, and we are paying for those mistakes today.

I am not pleased, I am not amused, and I am disheartened and troubled that the same things continue today. It needs to stop. Either we are a free nation, or we are not. We can't pretend to be one while doing another, and if we do we live in hypocrisy, and that's unacceptable for the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind. Please consider all this and think on it.
