Enchanting and Historical Attractions During Your Dog Friendly Holidays

Your dog friendly holidays will really be more memorable if you spend it together with your family and loved ones including your pets. There are hundreds of activities and well-known tourist attractions that you can go to during your dog friendly holidays. But before anything else, make sure that you have made the necessary reservations in one of the elegant holiday cottages. If you are looking for some peace and serenity, the Lily Pond, the Rose Garden and the Woodland Garden are great places to go to. The house is said to be constructed way back in the 1500's but remains to be well preserved. You can visit The Nunwell House and Gardens only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can also book the Gardens for your birthday and anniversary celebrations as well as corporate events.

Dinosaur Museum

Another place that you must visit during your dog friendly holidays if you are staying at the holiday cottages is the Dinosaur Museum. This award winning museum is one great attraction that you must take your family with you especially when you have smaller children. If you stay at one of the holiday cottages, it is easy to go to the Dinosaur Museum as it is right in the center of Dorchester or otherwise, you can easily ask for directions if you cannot locate it. The museum is available for the public from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. There are many interesting things that will excite your children such as the dinosaur skeletons, fossils and the "Jurassic Dinosaurs". There are also life-sized dinosaur reconstructions and multimedia displays that will give you more information about these extinct creatures.
