Building Muscle - How to Build Up Your Abs

Are you spending hours and hours trying to get the perfect six-pack with no positive results. I can also assume you are running miles a day, and spending your time doing cardio workouts, but still nothing. Let me show you the secret of building muscle, and how to build up your abs.

Firstly, I want to explain exactly how NOT to get a six-pack. If you are currently running, and doing cardio trying to build up your stomach abs, you are doing nothing more than burning away important muscle tissue, and doing the opposite of what you are trying to achieve, and that is the perfect six-pack. I have been in that situation myself, and I will admit I didn't want huge abs, just to be toned. I found out, I had spent weeks and almost months doing what I shouldn't have been doing, until one day I found the secret.

If this sounds like you, then you have to review your whole workout regime, and also look at your diet too. I said above about being in the same situation, and not until I first tried out what I am going to tell you below, did I see some positive results. If you think I have starved myself in the past, to get a flat stomach, so that my abs would show through, then maybe I had thought about it, but never tried it, and you shouldn't either.

Building muscle, and the secret on how to build up your abs.

If I told you your perfect six-pack is there, and simply hiding under a layer of body fat, you might think I am lying, but I am not, let me explain. It does not matter how many sit-ups you do, you could be doing a thousand a day, but without the proper diet to get rid of that layer of fat, your perfect abs, will simply stay hidden away.

The key to building muscle and building up your abs, is to simply get your body fat index lower, and show that six-pack that could be hiding away underneath. I started with a body fat index of around 20%, but within 3 months, I had lowered this down to just 10%, and you can guess what happened, I was looking very toned, and all down to simple diet changes, and some amazing cardio workouts, that were targeted on a specific area, my stomach.

The key to building up your abs, is following a diet which burns fat and also helps you build muscle, and it is possible, because if I can do it, you certainly can.
