Employability Coaching

April 17, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 185

· Do you ever wonder what it takes to be employable and not just employed?

· Do you have a dream career but aren't sure of how or when you can begin reaching out to achieve a better job?

· Would you like support and friendly advice of somebody who not only understands what you are going through but from someone who has reached out and made the changes themselves?

If you currently doubt your future with the company you are with, either through fear of redundancy or the job is simply not for you then perhaps it is time to start looking into employability coaching. It can be a distressing and lonely place when you lose or leave a job, especially if the circumstances were beyond your control. It can be even more daunting having to face the reality of repositioning your career and thinking about the challenges ahead. This is where the professional help of an employability coach can come in. They can help you with the task of which way to go and how to go about getting there.

So what will an employability coach teach you to do?

· Understand what makes you and others around you aggravated and look at stress reducing tips.

· Identify you existing strengths and using these as a foundation to build on.

· Begin to analyse and look at your personal development.

· Use a combination of these to start defining what is you want from a career and ways you can get there.

You can use the knowledge gained to:

· Translate and articulate your new skills into concentrating on that desired role. Objectives are much easier to achieve if you have a defined set of aims and ways to get there.

So what are the benefits from working with an Employability Coach?

· You can work on unlocking your potential so that you have more to offer.

· Employability coaching can be a liberating experience that can rebuild the clarity and confidence that knocks such as redundancies and job loss can have on a person.

· Employability coaches aim to inspire and engage you. Provide you with a passion for learning that may have very well been lost.

· Give back the confidence and competitive advantage employees might have lost.

· Allow clients to build a long term plan as opposed to a quick fix.

· Equipping yourself to help rebuild your employability.

· Help you grow through economic challenges and changes.

· Provide security and certainty within your life and you career.
