You And The Merchants of Death

July 05, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 145

Death and the prospects of death are raging higher in our country now, than in times of war. The sad comparison is that in war there is a cause to protect. Now, there is no cause, other than ignorance and the belief that some great governmental entity is protecting us.

The average person willingly buys and consumes nutritionally defunct fast foods without a single thought that they might be paying for death. Yes, the "merchants of death" occupy almost every corner in every commercial area of our cities.

Stand on any sidewalk in a busy major metropolitan area and observe the people that pass you by. It is guaranteed that 7 out of 10 will either be overweight or one candy bar away from it. This is insane in an era that information is king and readily available to the masses. We are killing ourselves with the knife and fork. No let's rephrase that, we are killing ourselves with convenience.

Almost no one wants to spend the time to cook and eat nutritionally sound food. We want everything instant. So what do we get; instant coffee, instant tea, instant food and almost instant death. This claim is not innuendo. Look at the facts for yourself.

In order to be healthy, our bodies require specific amounts of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and even fats to function properly. The average fast food purchase is based on the convenience of getting something that taste good and fills us up. Many of these meals are high in caloric content and very low on nutritional content.

The human body is a very fined tuned mechanism. It will only function properly when it is properly maintained. We take care of our pets better than we do ourselves. Most would never feed their dog or cat meals that are mostly sugar in content. Observation, you would probably live longer if you ate the food you are buying for your pet.

It is a huge challenge to buy and consume the right foods. This is a major problem, even if we don't buy them from the "Death Merchants." As a matter of fact, we might have to add our grocery stores to the list of "Death Merchants." I'm sure many of you would ask "why is that." Pure and simple, they don't sell much real food anymore.

OK, I see fruits, vegetables, meats, milk and other food items on my grocer's shelves. They are "real foods," you say. I beg to differ. In my opinion "real food" is a produced using natural growing methods and procedures (not genetic modification). How do you come up with seedless fruits? That's not natural, that's test tube. How do you come up with growth hormones in meats, making chickens and other animals as large in 6 weeks as they would normally be in 6 months? How do explain toxins in milk that is destined for baby formula?

Something is wrong with the big picture here. I know it because, I too am a participant. For many years I suffered from being obese and seeing nothing wrong. I cherished the moments that I could "eat, drink and be merry. I forgot about the part saying, "for tomorrow, you die." That truly takes on a realistic meaning with our consumption of the foods we buy and consume today.

I was an avid customer of the merchants for many years until I changed my story through knowledge. Don't regard yourself as a victim, but rather a customer. Victims are usually unknowing and/or unwilling participants in an encounter. You, just as I did, voluntarily and happily buy death on a daily basis. To change this behavior, go online, read some books and educate yourself on proper supplementation. There are lots of sound nutritional companies that can show you how to improve your health, and even rid yourself of pain naturally. Meet with a representative and ask a lot of questions.

But most important learn how to buy the best foods (hopefully organic), instead of the cheapest. Cut out the HFCS, artificial sweeteners and most sugar from your diet. Eat hardy, but healthy. The passage way to good health is good nutrition.

Don't worry. Through natural means death will come someday. You don't have to rush out and buy it.
