Kyolic has been approved by Good Manufacturing Practice or GMP, as the manufacturer's processing techniques passed the over 250 quality control procedures. This is to keep the safety and competency of the product for consumer's wellness.

Complying with GMP is a mandatory aspect in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Many countries have legislated that pharmaceutical and medical device companies must follow GMP procedures, and have created their own GMP guidelines that correspond with their legislation. In the U.S. a drug may be deemed adulterated if it passes all of the specifications tests but is found to be manufactured in a condition which violates current good manufacturing guidelines. A good manufacturing practice (GMP) is a production and testing practice that helps to ensure a quality product. Basic concepts of all of these guidelines remain more or less similar to the ultimate goals of safeguarding the health of the patient as well as producing good quality medicine, medical devices or active pharmaceutical products.

Thousands of years ago, Ancient people simply knew garlic as a recipe in their dishes. But in 1940, Americans started to embrace the potential of garlic pushing the consumption to a record of 250 million pounds a year. Garlic is called "Garleac" in Old English, which means spear leek, and it is also known by its scientific name "Allium Sativum" categorized as family of onion genus.

A brief explanation from Koch H.P., Lawson L.D. Garlic: Koch H. P., Lawson L. D. Garlic: The Science and Therapeutic Application of Allium sativum L. and Related Species 2nd ed. 1996:329 William and Wilkins Baltimore, MD., says that the chemicals in a garlic rely on the potential substrate activity of the enzyme allicinase, found in the garlic cell vacuoles; the drying procedure, the of polar and non-polar extraction solvents and the period of maceration before final extraction where essential reaction is visible as garlic cells are crushed. In relation, Koch and Lawson mentioned that inorder to produce garlic extract 6 major processing techniques to follow are freeze drying, low temperature drying, distillation, maceration in oil, hydroalcoholic short extraction and hydroalcoholic long extraction.

During the aging process of garlic, two elements were formed namely s-allyl-cysteine and s-allyl-mercapto-cysteine, that works in boosting our immune system.

Garlic is antibiotic in nature but what makes it good is that it will not kill good digestive bacteria or cause any damage to our body. Allicin is an organosulfur element which produces a natural antibacterial and anti-fungal content as effective as 1% of penicillin.

Kyolic aged garlic extract is widely known for its health benefits such as high-allicin which is capable in decreasing cholesterol, prevents the blood from creating irregular platelet mass, balances dietary mutagens by preventing free radicals to avoid development of cancer and some people claims that it lowers their blood pressure.
