How To Make Your MLM Opportunity Stand Out From The Crowd

Consider any successful network marketer. Odds are, that individual is a leader that others like, respect, and trust. This doesn't suggest that prices, products, and pay plans don't matter. Of course they matter.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of MLM marketers who offer excellent products at competitive prices with fine pay plans who aren't making much money. Why?

Why MLM Failures Fail

Do MLM failures fail because they lack knowledge? Perhaps, but probably not. Is it because they are lazy? Perhaps, but probably not. Most unsuccessful network marketers devote way too much time trying to sell their goods or services and not enough time selling their likability and credibility.That's the reason branding yourself as an expert that people like and trust is paramount to MLM success.

But expertise takes time. Therefore, learn everything you can about the network marketing industry in general. Learn everything you can about your product in particular. But remember that all the knowledge in the world cannot take the place of likability and trust.

Romance Your Customers

Your customer probably wants to buy from you if you are likable and have a quality product at a fair price that they need. But building a relationship with a customer can take time, just like building a romantic relationship can and usually does take time.

Become Trustworthy

Not only do your customers need time to know and like you, they also need time to trust you. And trust is not something you are automatically entitled to. Trust is something you must earn, especially in this day and age. Acquiring trust can also take time.

Great Companies, Great Products, Not-So-Great People

I'll never forget one distributor who was trying to get me into his organization. He had excellent products and worked for a reputable MLM company. Nevertheless, for whatever reason, I didn't like the guy. He provided me with plenty of valid, logical reasons to buy. But I did not buy from him because I did not buy him.

Did I tell him that? Of course not. Neither should you expect your prospective customers to tell that to you. Instead, they'll probably say something like, "I want to think about it."

Another individual persuaded me to join an MLM lead generation opportunity. He was likable enough. The opportunity was fine. I signed up because he claimed he was generating an outrageous income. He promised similar results for me. As it turned out, he was full of hooey. He hadn't made a dime. Ditto for me.

So remember: without likability and trustworthiness, true success in MLM is impossible. The only thing missing from S_CCESS is U.
