April 18, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 119

If you're browsing for BlackBerry handsets, you must have come across the Bold 9900. With all the handsets in RIM's lineup, you must be wondering what this phone is ideal for. This smartphone is Research In Motion's top of the line handset. It comes with the best features RIM has to offer. Here, you will get to know what the phone is ideal for.

First of all, the phone comes with a powerful single-core processor. It comes with a 1.2 GHz processor under the hood. This is a more powerful processor compared to the 9360's 800MHz and the 9790's 1 GHz processor. This simply means that the phone offers superior processing power compared to other phones in RIM's lineup. This will be ideal for running apps, music playback, video playback, video streaming, and multi-tasking.

The phone is also ideal for recording high-definition videos. It sports a 5 megapixel camera that can record videos in 720p. Other phones in RIM's lineup such as the 9360 and the 9790 also come with 5 megapixel cameras. However, they can only record videos in VGA-quality. This means that videos recorded on this smartphone will be of higher quality.

When it comes to high-speed internet, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 allows users to enjoy from a faster connection. It offers download speeds of up to 14.4 mbps and upload speeds of up to 5.76 mbps. Other phones in Research In Motion's lineup can only download at 7.2 mbps. This includes the 9360 and the 9790.

RIM's top of the line handset offers a number of options when it comes to navigating through the phone's features. It comes with a 2.45 inch capacitive touch screen that has a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels. Right below the touch screen is a QWERTY keyboard that allows users to type more efficiently. Lastly, the phone comes with an optical track pad in between the touch screen and the QWERTY keyboard. This track pad will allow you to navigate through the phone's features just like you would on a laptop.

Since the phone comes with a QWERTY keyboard, the phone is ideal for chat. Like all phones the BlackBerry Bold 9900 allows users to enjoy chatting on the BBM. This is RIM's mobile instant messaging service. This popular IM will allow you to chat with friends just like you would on your computer.

Lastly, this phone is ideal for running apps downloaded from App World. Its hardware and software allows you to play the best games and run other applications.

As you can see, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is ideal for a number of tasks. Now that you know all about the phone's capabilities, you can better decide if the phone is right for you.
