Two Highly Addictive iPhone 4S Games Developed By Popcap

February 29, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 257

The iPhone 4S is a smartphone that has access to thousands of superb applications from the iTunes App Store. A wide selection of different types of application are available but nearly every user of this phone will find themselves downloading a game title that they find impossible to put down. Popcap have become very well known for producing some of the most addictive games for the iPhone 4S so we take a look at two of the best ones currently available.

Bejewelled Blitz is a very simple game that is perfect for devices like the iPhone 4S thanks to the simple controls and relatively fast game time. The idea of the games is for users to line up jewels of the same colour by swapping them with a jewel that is placed adjacent to them. A minimum sequence of three jewels is required but if you do manage to create a row of four or five then you activate special bonuses that can lead to very high scores. The basic and colourful graphics on this title are perfect for a mobile device and the simple gameplay means that the games can easily be played with one hand. This game is linked with your Facebook account which means that your scores are automatically entered onto a leaderboard along with the scores of all your friends. During the games you also earn coins which can be spent on boosts and bonuses to help you to achieve the highest score possible. Bejewelled Blitz offers excellent gameplay that will keep you entertained for a long time. The Facebook connectivity adds to the appeal by allowing you to try and beat the scores posted by your friends.

Pocap also produce a second highly addictive game for the iPhone 4S which is called Peggle. Just like Bejewelled Blitz the title makes use of simple graphics and minimal controls to provide a highly addictive gameplay that can keep you occupied for minutes or hours. The idea behind the game is very simple, on the screen there is a large number of pegs all spaced an equal distance apart. The user has to fire a ball from the top of the screen which bounces off as many of these pegs as possible. When a peg is hit by the ball it disappears so the users knows exactly how well they have done. The game is a clever mix of luck and skill, users need to decide the perfect target to launch the ball at but once it is fired luck dictates which pegs it will actually hit. Like many Popcap games users can link their progress with their Facebook account so they can compare their best scores with ones posted by their friends.

The iPhone 4S is one of the very best smartphones available for gaming. Dozens of highly addictive games are available and many of them are produced by Popcap. Two of the very best are Peggle and Bejewelled Blitz with both having the ability to keep users hooked with their simple gameplay and colourful graphics.

The iPhone 4S and the Sony Xperia S are available now.
