Sony Xperia U And HTC One V - Your Best Choices

April 17, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 188

The Sony Xperia U is one of the latest Xperia NXT series announced recently. It has all the usual finesse that a Sony smartphone boasts. We all know how good Sony is when it comes to delivering pretty good looking handsets. Even if the latest Xperia NXT series are different than other latest flagships out there, you can still see a lot of posh Xperia styling in these handsets.

On the other hand, the Xperia U is the lowest priced Xperia line up the materials used on this handset is not as good as its siblings or same range handsets. Setting the point aside, this handset is still solidly built regardless of the materials used in manufacturing it. You do not have to worry about the handset falling apart. You will also notice that this handset boasts the same transparent strip that is present on other Xperia handsets. But unlike its other siblings this one contains LED lights. You can customize it to light up whenever you get messages or calls and even choose a different color every now and then. The bottom part of this handset is where you will part the phone's interchangeable cap. You can choose to change it to suit your mood. It comes in the following colors: black, white, yellow, and pink. This is a feature that is exclusive to this handset only.

Let us now move on to the HTC One V. This is perhaps the baby of the HTC One line up. This is also the cheaper version of the One series (just like the Xperia U). This may be priced cheaply but it doesn't mean that it is an ugly or worthless handset. You will get a distinctive rectangular shape with rounded corners and edges on this handset. This then results to a bubbly and lively appearance. You will also notice that it features a curved chin design (bottom part).

When it comes to their displays, the HTC One V comes with a bigger screen at 3.7". You will also enjoy its resolution of 800 x 480 pixels with a pixel density of 252ppi. On the other hand, the Xperia U comes in second with only a 3.5" screen display. Its resolution is at 480 x 854p with a pixel density of 280ppi. Remember, these handsets are nothing like the famous iPhone 4S or top Android handsets out there. For them to be with these kinds of screen sizes and resolutions, they are something worth buying.

There is no real winner and loser when it comes to pitting these two handsets. Both possess different qualities and features. But one thing is for sure, if you do not want to spend that much on a handset but still be able to enjoy amazing Android features then the Sony Xperia U and HTC One V are your best choices.
