Using Meditation and Music To Reduce Stress

February 13, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 165

Meditation through music is THE best way to reduce the common stresses that constantly increase through each day of our lives. In today's society, stress has become the norm for hundreds of people. Most of us are on a strict schedule to finish the days tasks that day. Life moves to fast with today's technology, computers, smartphones, either we get the job done NOW or need to learn something NOW. Much of the time we are constantly forced to complete our tasks fast. Slow down, take a breathe and just relax even for a few minutes.

What many of us need is to have a calm moment to ourselves to stop the stresses of today. Meditation music can be the answer to your needs. Whatever kind of music you like (except for hard rock and heavy metal of course), you can use this as an outlet to just chill out and forget about the anxiety and tension of the days work.

I have stress throughout the day. My career is an airplane technician is to insure the airplane is 100% airworthy to fly every day. Many peoples lives are basically in my hands when I sign the paperwork saying the airplane is safe to fly. So, you can imagine how my stress levels are each day. What I do during my time off from work, I listen to sounds mostly of nature on a CD. The sounds of the ocean, waves rolling on the shoreline. The sounds of a tropical rainforest, thunderstorms and many other forms of meditation music. This has been my stress relief for many years and I can be confident when I go to work that I have a clear mind and can focus completely on my job.

Whatever kind of music you enjoy, you can find this a very relaxing way of meditation. For a lot of you that are in good physical shape and like to workout in a gym, at home or even by running, you want to be able to free your mind of a lot of things that have bothered you through the day. If you are outdoors doing your exercises, take a Walkman with you and just tune it to a station that you really like and let the music take you away.

If you are at home exercising, cooking or cleaning and you have a iPod, get one of your favorite CD's and play it while you are doing the things you need to get done. You can also just go get some blank tapes and record your favorite songs off the radio for your meditation music.

We all have different stresses in our lives. Be it financial, relationships, family, career, we all need an outlet, if just for a few minutes.

This is just a simple version of meditation. Anyone can do this. But to get the full effects of meditation you need to learn the basics and begin a program that will train you to experience the full benefits of meditation music. It is not hard at all and anyone can do this.
