Generating Leads on Autopilot

You are reading this because you know how important leads in a business are. You are reading this because the idea of being able to generate leads with no direct input is a dream-come true. The whole business of lead generation is so exact it borders on scientific. There is the human psychology of the capture page, the relationship building skills of email marketing, the mathematical ability to track the progress of your lead generation campaigns and then there is the art of closing the sale. All these are part of generating leads on autopilot, so how does this process begin?

The lifeblood of any good marketer is the leads that they generate in their target market. It comes as no surprise that the vast majority of successful marketers generate their leads through online methods. The biggest attraction of using online advertising to generate leads is the whole automated process which can be set up. This is where generating leads on autopilot becomes a distinct reality.

The first thing any marketer tries to get a handle on is where they will get their traffic from. The importance of traffic in lead generating can be likened to any offline business. Traffic is basically visitors, these visitors become leads, and it is then up to the marketer to create a process which turns these leads into customers. The whole process is created by setting something up called a marketing funnel.

There are a number of ways to generate traffic, some of these are using a blog, Google paid ads, Facebook paid ads, and You Tube paid ads, email marketing, solo ads, newsletter marketing and article marketing. All of these will generate targeted traffic which is looking for what you have to offer as a solution to their problem. So, how do we turn this into an automated process so we can generate huge numbers of leads on auto pilot?

The funnel is where all the magic happens and it is at the entrance to this funnel where your traffic will first land. This first point of contact is known as your squeeze page or capture page and it is the make or break of your marketing campaign. This page must be tested in different formats, with different wording, colours and layout so it stands the best chance possible at capturing the email and sometimes first name of your visitor. If this does not happen then your marketing is wasted and you will not have the leads you need for your business to succeed.

Once the details of your visitor are captured then the automated process begins with full effect. After they opt-in to join your list as a cold lead, you will have offered them a free gift to entice them to enter their details and trust you with them. They will be automatically directed to your download link and there they will receive what you promised. After this, you will have set up in your auto responder, an automatic sequence of between 5 and 7 emails all having a purpose in your funnel.

This whole process is completely automated and will be fine-tuned so it stands you the best chance you can have to turn the new leads into a buying and staying customers. Once you have placed your advertising in which ever format you choose the process of lead generation and conversion into a customer becomes completely automated. What now follows is the process of building healthy and lasting relationships with your list members so they learn to trust and respect you.
