A true saying is "people buy products and services from others they know and trust." They will not purchase from random sales pages. It can take time, to build relationship and trust. Increasing the quality of your list, revealing more about yourself, and showing your generosity by always delivery more than expected. This is where you win your list over and the subscribers become willing to buy from you. Always inform your list subscribers that you value their opinions and well-being.

Always keep your list up to date. It can be time consuming, but keeping subscribers details accurately logged will benefit you. If you sell wedding dresses there is no point keeping people on the list if they have already got married.

Always build your own list through your website visitors. There are places you can buy lists but there are of no real value. How can they be targeted at your niche? Also subscribers to these lists will have no personal bond with you and therefore no trust or loyalty.

To recap, list building should be a focal point of any profitable internet business. The size of the list is an important factor but quality is vital. Always keep your list up to date.
