Evaluating Ourselves by Asking Why?

February 16, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 159

There are many people who are merely doing things around them but didn't know why? I've written this article because of my personal experience as a technology specialist or web and SEO specialist.

I had a friend who needed help so that he can be able to go to school and provide the necessary things he needed in life because his parents didn't give him full support. Because he really wanted to get a job, I called him up in my office and talked to him. At first he was hesitant to come to my office to talk about the job that I'm offering him. Because his course that he is taking up in college is related to what my office is doing, I've motivated him to go to my office in his spare or vacant time so that he can work with me and I will pay him for that.

He agreed and has worked enthusiastically for the first few weeks but much to my surprise he just suddenly stopped working. He had many reasons. But as I see the situation, I can sense that the main thing that affected him is his own attitude. Now he's back to his usual routine before he worked with me, depending on other people for survival and not doing anything to help himself.

Attitude for me is very important especially in dealing with life's challenges. It is the biggest factor that will lead us to either success or failure.

In our world today, it is important that we evaluate ourselves especially when we are put to a situation where in we need to decide what we need to do best with our lives. For me, asking the question "why" to ourselves will lead us to answers that we have never thought before, probably the answers to our pleadings.

Questions like the following will help you evaluate yourself more and find out what are the things that you still need to do for you to attain success.

· "Why am I experiencing this?"

· "Why should I change myself for the better?"

· "Why do other people succeed while I don't?"

When you are seeking for an answer the best keywords to remember is "Why". This would lead you to a better understanding about what you are seeking. This would also lead you to success especially when you are in a business, work, family and many others.

This keyword "why" is one powerful tool to use especially if you are giving a counsel to your employees or workers.
