The Letter Gimmel and Its Different Meanings

April 17, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 144

Camel means to rise up. Camels rise up. Have you ever ridden a camel before? It's only something you do once, right? I had a chance to do it in Israel, it is an amazing experience. Gimmel in its pictograph can mean to rise up, to lift up, it can be pride. It lifts you up when it should not or it can mean to go after and it also can mean the generous rich man.

Now, how it all those connect to Gimmel? Because when we immediately think of pride we think of the negative side of pride because that's typically what eats people up and it causes men to fall and it will destroy mankind. As a matter of fact, that five-letter word has done more damage for mankind than I believe any other word, would you agree with me?

Pride is what causes men to fall but that is not the kind of pride that Yahweh wants you to understand from the very beginning because I'm going to submit to you that when the letters of the Alphabet was spoken in Genesis to create the universe, there was no negativity. There was no evil; there was nothing negative in his language. It is a pure and perfect language so anything that we are going to use is always going to be in the positive when we work with the Hebrew Alphabet and so Pride is going to be that you are proud of like a father who is proud of his son and he sticks his chest up because he is so proud. That is the pride that Gimmel means.

It is a camel that rises for his king which is obviously a rich man. That explains why a camel is connected to a rich man, but how about the "generous" part? You should know that rich men before the fall were all generous. So I want you to remember that when we are talking about these things, we're talking six thousand years ago in the mind of the Creator, all of His alphabetical letters have positive and amazing translations. The enemy cannot be found in the pure language.

Alright so we have the generous rich men that are involved here. Here are some words that starts with the letter Gimmel, to just give you a little bit of a context because what you learn in Hebrew is much of the words that are starting with a particular letter of the alphabet will give you the meaning of that word, it's completely different in English. It doesn't work that way in any language; it is only Hebrew that this works in.

Gan is garden; it's to lift up life, on the right side of the word Gan you will see the Gimmel, on the left you will see the letter Nun which means life. So what does garden mean? To lift up life! Doesn't that just makes sense? That's what gardens do, you put seeds in there and you water it with the Holy Spirit or the Ruach and up come life in the Garden of Eden which was the garden of life.

I'm Jim Staley Mo. It is my heart's desire that you will be challenged and transformed through the materials and resources that are in this article. Whether it's about Jewish holidays, the Sabbath Day, or the meaning of Christmas, history of Easter, origin of Christmas, or any other Hebraic topics, we want you to know the truth because the truth will only do one thing!
