So here, I'll give you every savvy home owners out there some great facts about staging homes.

Fact is: Marketing sells!

Fact: A staged home typically sells 50% faster than an unstaged home. Think of your costs for the additional mortgage payments, the prorated property taxes, and other costs incurred. A staged home also will typically sell for somewhere between 6 to 10% more money.

Fact: Did you know that 90% of buyers cannot look past your stuff to picture themselvesLiving in your home. Another important factor is to remember they are going to be viewing photos of your home first. If they don't like what they see, They'll just click "next"....

Fact: The cost of staging is thousands of dollars less than the cost of a price reduction onyour home.

Fact: If the home you are selling is your primary residence, and it's staged the samecalendar year it's sold, professional staging cost may be fully deductable off your taxes as a selling expense! Check with your tax professional for more details.

The internet has changed the way buyers buy. Sellers need to respond with the new way to sell. It wasn't that long ago, if buyers wanted to look at homes for sale they had two choices, Sunday open house or to drive around with a buyer's agent. This can time consuming and stressful. In these times, both the agent, and the buyer are speeding up the process.

In 2012 almost 95% of buyers view properties on the web before deciding to visit in person. So, if the photos don't wow them, why should they go take a look? And remember, you're Not fooling anyone by not posting photos or have just one {the front of the house} everyone will suspect you are trying to hide an ugly house. This is most likely the case.

On average, buyers visit 75 homes or more on the internet, and walk into less than 10. This is according to what the National Association of Realtors have confirmed. If they don't see it, they won't write an offer. If there's no offers there's no sales, so be ready for buyers with home staging.
