How to Market Your Home Staging Business to Real Estate Agents

April 12, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 85

One of the main things that could help you and your business succeed is by marketing your home staging business to real estate agents. Since your business is within the range of real estate market, you might want to build a good business relationship with its people and they are the real estate agents. Real estate agents know more about the selling properties in which your business was made for.

There are many benefits you can get when you market your home staging business to real estate agents; one is that they open their agency for you and that is your best way to get numerous home staging opportunities. But, you can only do this by getting to their door. We all know that real estate agents are busy people. They offer more complicated services than home stagers' services. So, you can't just call them. If you want to be entertained for your proposal, you have to get into their door.

Contact every agent that you know and even those agents that has been referred to you by your family or friends. You can send a preliminary mail that explains the services you offer and notify them that you will call them soon. Remember, the more the agents that you have contact with, the more the opportunities that you can get.

Once the agents recognized your mail and agreed that you talk, you should immediately start explaining your services and if possible ask them that they allow you to be at their next meeting to make a not more than ten minute presentation about your business. Some real estate agencies have their weekly or monthly meeting so you have to prepare and do not miss the date.

If they agreed and they gave you the time you asked for your presentation, avoid blowing up your chance. You must be sure and confident about your business presentation because this is your chance to attract those who are looking for home staging services.

When presenting, hand out your business flyers and cards, show them some photos of your previous designing and home staging works. Show them that you have been with many clients and that they were satisfied with your works and show them that the business you have is an established one. If it is possible, show them some of your clients' testimonials. Doing all these could interest them and so they will agree to hire your home staging business every time that they need a home staging service.
