Mont Tremblant National Park is one of the most exciting and beautiful national parks in Canada. Many thousands of people go walking in Canada each year on organised tours, and Mont Tremblant National Park is one of the best places to explore.

There is a large network of trails stretching for over 80 km across the park, and if you want to discover the Laurentian Mountains then hiking is the ideal way to see the area. But walking and hiking are not the only things to do here, there is plenty more on offer. Here are some of the other activities you may be interested in trying out when you organise a holiday which is based on walking in Canada.

Cross Country Skiing

Skiing is one of the most popular activities in Mont Tremblant National Park after hiking, and during the winter months many people head here to enjoy the fantastic cross country opportunities on offer. The best place to go is La Diable, which comprises about 60 km of well-groomed trails for all abilities. If you want to ski here then you should arrange your trip between December and March.

Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing is another very popular activity to consider trying when you arrange a trip to this park to enjoy some of the best walking in Canada. There are nearly 50 km of trails to explore in this way, divided between La Diable and La Pimbina, and wherever you go you will be able to enjoy a pristine natural environment and some spectacular views.

Swimming

When you visit Mont Tremblant National Park to go walking in Canada during the summer months, you may find that you need to cool off a little during the day. Luckily, in the park you will find two beaches! They are both supervised and fully serviced so that you can relax and take it easy to give your feet a rest.

Cycling

There are seven different cycling circuits in Mont Tremblant National Park, and in total they add up to provide 63 km of trails. The season for cycling starts in May and lasts up until it starts to snow, so you have plenty of time throughout the year to take part in this activity.

Enjoy All That Mont Tremblant National Park Has to Offer

Mont Tremblant National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the country, so if you are wondering where in particular to go this could well be the one to choose.
