Organic garden is the newest, most convenient way for people with green thumbs to enjoy gardening without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Even without the use of these chemicals in tending your garden, your plants will be sure to bloom beautifully and the great thing is, you can ensure the quality of freshness of your crops.

An organic garden will foster a more holistic, natural ecosystem for your plants. This simply means that your plants are sure to grow the natural way. Another thing is, you'll help decrease the toxic chemicals in the environment. Lastly, it is known that organic foods are quite expensive in the market. By having your own organic garden, you and your family can enjoy eating fresh organic fruits and veggies for free!

Step #1: Soil Preparation To start your organic garden, it's important that you make sure that your soil is well conditioned. Just like you, your plants need to eat right, thus, you have to ensure that the soil you'll use will provide them with the right nutrients. Healthy soil builds up healthy plants. Using chemical soil treatments will only harm the microbes in your soil, thus, your plants won't be getting the right nourishment. For you to know the quality of your soil, you have to test it. You can get a home testing kit which is available in the market. If you don't have time to test your soil, just make sure your soil has plenty of organic matter, mixing compost, leaf and grass clippings and manure.

Step #2: Choosing Plants It's really important that you select plants which are well-suited to your area. Your plants should thrive in your specific environmental and weather conditions. Also, choose plants which can be well adjusted in each spot, taking into consideration factors such as light, moisture, drainage and soil quality. Also, make sure that you select plants which are well-suited in your area. To make it easier and more convenient for you, start small. Purchase seedlings which will be easy to tend to and plant just the right amount you need. Once you do this, rest assured that your plants will bloom at its best.

Step #3: Proper Watering Plants need water to survive, just as humans do. It's important therefore that you ensure you have proper watering for your organic garden. The best time for you to water your plants is in the morning. There would be no strong winds so the amount of water lost to evaporation will be reduced. Drainage system should also be considered in your organic garden. Make sure that you provide the right amount of water to your plants. By doing this, you can make sure that your water does not corrode the soil and most importantly, it won't drown the plants.

You can start an organic garden in these quick and easy steps. You don't need to buy tools or instructional manuals to help you get started. Just follow these tips and the other ones you'll find at http://www.organicgrow.biz to enjoy a bountiful organic garden.
