Why Your Elementary School Should Consider Teddy Bears for Its New Fundraiser

April 06, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 184

For the past ten years I have been promoting and selling some of the most popular items in the fundraising market and during that time I have seen a lot of changes. Everyone is health conscious today so the cookie dough products are switching to "zero trans fats" and we are seeing many other healthy snack options take their position among the leaders, however, one thing hasn't changed at all. Women are responsible for most of the sales decisions made regarding most fundraising events.

Have you ever went door to door with your child and watched how people interact with them? if not, you really should it's a science worth studying. Here is a very typical scenario for you. Child rings the doorbell a man answers, "Hello young lady, how are you? The child responds " Fine sir, I am selling items from this catalog and would like to know if you would buy something to help support our school?" I am confident you will hear one of two responses which are:

"I am sure we would, but my wife isn't home right now could you come back later?" or "Sure, one moment let me get my wife."

If the women is home she will likely ask the man what he would like and he will respond with "Whatever you want is fine honey."

Of course I know this isn't always the case, but it is true more than 75% of the time and that is why Teddy Bears should be your next fundraiser.

There are some incredible Teddy Bear lines available today and they offer profits as high as 50% which is incredible. The teddy bears sell for around $12, so they are within the right limits for successful product and they come in some very popular designs, so there is always something for every buyer.

Now remember, teddy bears will work for any group, from pre-schools to College Football players and why? It's because you know your buying audience is primarily the Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunts and Sisters in the world and they love teddy bears!

It's also because teddy bears come in so many of today's most popular themes ranging from Cancer Awareness, Sports teams, Church Affiliations, you name it and there is a bear for it. If there isn't a bear already in existence, have one made!

One of the more popular teddy bear fundraisers is to have a Spirit Bear created for your group and everyone loves to see their Schools name and logo on whatever they are selling right?!

So give Teddy Bears a try! Believe me your supporters will go crazy for them!
