Three Great Ideas For School Fundraising The Easy Way

February 14, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 175

There are many great ideas for a school fundraiser. The easiest ones will probably take less time out of the school schedule and will probably provide the most profits. A quick overview of a few of the fundraising ideas for schools that can have great an impact will help make a decision on what to do for the school. The ideas that are being considered must all have the same goal in the end. The goal for any fundraiser is of course to make the most profit possible in the smallest amount of time.

The first fundraising idea for school can be selling chocolate bars or sweets. This has been one of the more traditional ideas and has been done before by schools with great success. This is a great start for kids at a young age to learn selling skills by practicing with their friends and neighbours. The fundraiser can run for a few weeks to a whole month to see the profits of the venture. Each student can take a fixed amount of candy bars to sell, with an increase of candy bars to sell later if they run out. It is important to estimate the amount of candy bars to invest in correctly because buying too much can take a hit on your profits if the school does not sell all of them. Being careful on buying too little can also be a downfall because of the supply and demand.

Other fundraising ideas for schools can be discount cards. The great advantage discount cards have over other ideas is that it gives discounts on some of the most frequented places to eat, shop and entertainment venues. The discounted card usually carries a great number of participating merchants that will give a certain percentage off the full price. The usual going rates for discount cards is about £7 each and payoff at the end with the great discounts in the long run. Examples of the discounts that are possible to get can include, half prices and a buy one get one free deal. Whatever the case may be with the discount cards, these will make for a great fundraising idea in the end.

The last fundraiser idea that can be done for schools is pizza discount cards. Similar towards the discount cards but different in the way that this card is exclusively towards pizza purchases. This is a great fundraising idea because of the tremendous love for pizza in the world. There are indeed a lot of pizza lovers and offering them a pizza card can really help save them money. The pizza card offered is usually for one exclusive pizza company. The going rates for cards like these can also be around $10 each card. The best crowds that can take advantage of these pizza cards are the young crowds, such as teenagers and kids. Some of the discounts can be half off the pizza, a percentage off or even free drinks with the purchase of the pizza. These are just a few of the fundraising ideas for schools that can be considered and be a great success.
