There are different medicinal topical applications that can be purchased. These are creams, sprays, and powders. Some are specifically for tinea pedis and some are for jock itch. After applying a topical application always wash your hands thoroughly as tinea is highly contagious. Some people may even use plastic disposable gloves to prevent the disease from spreading.
