You can carry on the workouts either at the fitness center or in your home (if you are a busy professional). Treadmill gives you the opportunity to improve your stamina in a gradual manner.

You can control the velocity, the number of workouts and the frequency of workouts. However, you should be disciplined enough to carry out the exercises on a regular basis.

Types of workouts

There are different types of workouts. Some of them include interval workout, random workout and Hill Sculpting workout.

Interval workout is a great choice if you wish to burn the fat at a fast pace. These workouts will help you progress to the next levels in a gradual manner.

The workout will consist of fluctuation between low and high intensities. For example, you can run for two minutes and walk for one minute.

This pattern can be repeated 10 to 15 times and you can spend 20 to 30 minutes per day. You should set the inline at 0% to avoid injuries while running on the treadmill. Interval workout can be performed alternative days of the week.

The other days can be allotted for other kind of workouts. Interval workout will burn the fat in less time with less effort.

If you select the 'Random' option on the treadmill, you will be taken through a set of predefined workout styles spanning different intensities and various time spans. If you want to experience the thrill of outdoor exercising, random workout is the nice option.

As the workouts are changing constantly and continuously, it will be difficult for the muscles to adapt to the abrupt changes. The net effect will be shedding of more weight without your knowledge.

You can change the workout styles and intensities either manually or randomly. This kind of exercise can be performed once in a week to make your body and mind feel the difference.As you practice different kinds of workouts you will not get bored to continue workouts on treadmill.

As the name suggests, the hill sculpting workouts will help shape your legs. For better results, you should ensure the incline is set above 10%. As per the research, it is observed that the walking at 12% incline is equal to running at double the speed on a normal plane.

The heart beat at both these instances will be same. Working at incline position will make you exert extra effort and thus you will fast at a rapid pace. You can perform hill sculpting workouts once in a week and the duration should be 20 to 30 minutes which can be decided as per your capacity.

As you burn fat on a continuous basis, you can experience weight loss at a steady pace. You should ensure that you will not miss workouts at any cost.

You can also procure additional accessories like music system, treadmill mat, etc. to make your workouts more safe as well as entertaining. You should take precaution that you will not strain much beyond your capacity.
