Improve Vision Naturally By Doing These 2 Unique Eye Exercises

Remember that part of a song that says "I can see clearly now"? Well wouldn't it be nice if you could actually see clearly again.

If you have normal eyes that are just losing the clarity of focus and causing you to wear eyeglasses, then you might be able to improve your vision naturally.

As we get older, the muscles in our eyes get tighter and lose their flexibility which results in poor eyesight. This is the same thing that happens to the muscles in the rest of our body.

The only answer to stop the deterioration is to exercise all our muscles, this includes the ones that control our eyes.

I started losing the clarity of my vision a couple of years ago. I was determined to do something to help get it back to normal.

After doing some research I found these 2 eye exercises that have helped me to get back to seeing normally again.

Eye Movement 1 Crossing the eyes

My mother used to tell me that if I continued to cross my eyes they would stay that way.

I discovered that crossing your eyes is actually a good exercise for your eyes. It's easy to do anywhere and it really works the muscles.

Hold your head level, relax as much as possible, and cross your eyes so you are looking at the end of your nose. Now raise your eyes to look at a point 20-30 feet away and concentrate until the object is in focus.

Cross your eyes again and repeat the exercise. Start at 10 reps and work up to 20, 3 times a day.

Eye Movement 2 Improve peripheral vision

Most of us spend the majority of our day looking straight ahead at our phones or computer screens. This is causing us to lose our peripheral vision and we can't see off to the side.

The result of this is that we can no longer see a big picture when we drive or are walking.

Hold your head level, extend both arms in front of you at eye level with your thumbs up. Keep your eyes looking straight ahead. Swing both arms out to your side, holding them at eye level, keeping the thumbs in view.

Concentrate on your thumbs so you are actually seeing them, but don't move your eyes. Make your brain and eyes work to continue to see the thumbs. Move your arms until you lose sight of your thumbs.

Practice this 20 times a day, attempting to go farther each time before you lose sight of your thumbs.

Don't neglect your eyes and their muscles when you are planning your exercise routine. By working your eye muscles as hard as you work your other muscles, you can begin to improve your vision naturally. A few minutes spent on your eyes can make all the difference in the world for your quality of life and the way you see the beauty around you.
