Global Warming Alarmists Attempt to Come Clean on Carbon - Well Almost Some Soot Remains

April 26, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 188

Today, at Starbucks I talked to someone from Edmonton Canada who is spending some quality time as a Snowbird in our international city. I asked him if he was in the oil business because most of the folks from Edmonton that I know, are in the oil services business, work in the sector, or work in a business which supports people who are in this sector - it is obviously their major industry there. We talked about the so-called global warming religion, and he laughed, because he really did believe it was a religion.

He noted that there are more players than ever before, and there has been a little bit of a warming trend, nothing too significant, but the Eskimos are now complaining that there are too many polar bears. Apparently the warming is helping their population numbers, and if the global warming alarmists believe that it is the CO2 that mankind puts out causing these warmer temperatures, and if they really care about these ferocious polar bears, then we need to put more CO2 in the atmosphere to ensure that their population keeps climbing, as they had further South.

Still, it is perhaps an inconvenience research paper that recently noted the CO2 in and of itself isn't really the problem, rather the sooted CO2, which causes most of the air pollution, and therefore was responsible for more of the warming temperatures and climate change. You see, there was yet, another revision by global warming alarmist insiders at the EPA which is discussed in an article titled; "Black carbon ranked number two climate pollutant by US EPA," which appeared on April 10, 2012 in TerraDaily. Black carbon is basically soot from diesel fuel, cooking stoves, and other sources for instance from coking coal to make steel or from coal fired plants. The article stated that;

"EPA concluded that black carbon was likely to be causing more warming than any climate pollutant other than CO2, although there was remaining uncertainty about the effects of black carbon on clouds, which still need to be resolved."

Of course, what the article didn't explain very well is that black carbon has a shorter life compared to regular CO2, although the article did mention that in a few decades the effect of black carbon would be negligible if we stopped putting it into the atmosphere. Still, when temperatures are warmer, there is an abundance of life, when there is more abundance of life, there are more for polar bears to eat, and believe me they will eat anything. When polar bears have a lot to eat, they have more offspring, and they don't eat their own babies, therefore more polar bears live another day to breed even more. That's what's happening now.

As more and more climate scientists are willing to publish their research papers, and are no longer afraid of losing tenure at their university or being blacklisted for their research, we are starting to note that the issue of global warming and CO2 in the atmosphere has not only not been settled, it is highly disputed, and many believe that it is a complete farce. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
