1 Simple Step to Reduce Stress and Be Happy

Do you ever feel like life is just one big balancing act? Between work, family, cooking, managing the home - how are you supposed to do it all? Someone tries to bring diet and exercising into the equation and FORGET IT! You're lucky just to get through the day! Maybe someday when you retire....

What if I told you there was 1 simple step you could take that could forever alter the course of your life?!

One simple step that could help you reduce your stress and finally be happy! Not just a short term happiness, but learning to balance and really live life! Ready? Here it is!

You have to work on you!

Allow me to explain. We spend so much time trying to separate our lives into compartments. It's what we've been taught to do. Family goes into this compartment, work into this. You might fit God over here and when we have time, maybe a little exercise and diet there.

So what happens when you work on YOU?!

It's really quite cool. When you start working on yourself, you became a better version of yourself in all areas. You learn to sift through what is important, how to prioritize and amazingly, become less stressed! You learn how your mindset could be affecting your outlook on life. You may not even think your outlook on life is bad, but fear is holding you back! You will learn how to change what you associate pain and pleasure with. I am not speaking about sitting back, humming and pretending things aren't there, but really getting to the core of who you are and what your purpose is (YES, I believe everyone has one! Whether or not they chose to fulfill it is up to them!)

So how do you get started?

It doesn't have to be complicated. Start small. When you change what you are putting in your mind daily, you change. You begin to take the small things with a grain of salt. You learn to set real goals- and accomplish them! When you start to see progress in your life, you want more! It's a contagious lifestyle!

Find a cd of a motivational speaker you enjoy listening to. Keep this cd in the car. Listen to it on the way to the store, work, everywhere you go! You will find your mood start to lift. I also recommend reading 10 pages of an inspirational book a day. 10 pages is really not much and your current life, your future, could depend on it!
