Genital warts: The condition

Sexually transmitted infections are one of the most worrying conditions for men and women alike. The reasons for the same might be aplenty. They are contracted during the most intimate moments of life. They can cause discomfort while performing intimate acts. They affect the most sensitive areas of the body - the genitals. They are one of the fastest spreading infections around the world. Effective genital warts treatments are necessary to control this infection. Treatments such as Warticon and Condyline can help to control and clear the outbreak of genital warts and effectively relieve the sufferer from this sexually transmitted infection.

Genital warts is a result of sexual activity in humans. This condition is caused by a virus called the human papilloma virus or HPV. They are characterized by small growths of flesh on and around the genital areas of humans. They are spread through human sexual activity including - oral sex, anal sex and vaginal intercourse. The virus is so active that it can spread through a mere contact with an area containing active virus from an infected person. In fact, the probability of spread is up to 60% in the first contact. Undoubtedly, it is the fastest spreading infection through sexual activity transmission. The dreadful characteristic of the virus is that it never dies. So virtually, this infection is not curable at all. It will remain inside the host till the death of the host. However, the activity state of the virus is what gives us hope against this dreaded infection.

Genital warts: The causes

Genital warts is an infection passed through sexual contact. Hence, it is evident that the main cause of infection is spread through sexual contact. A condition which usually spreads through sexual activity involves vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse or oral sex. However, genital warts differs or advances other forms of sexually transmitted infections. In addition to the conventional sexual contact, the virus responsible for the spread of this infection can transmit even with a simple body contact with an area containing active human papilloma virus. Additionally, this virus cannot be killed. This lethal combination of the virus' characteristics makes this infection one of the most troubling conditions.

Effective treatments are needed to control the virus from multiplying and spreading. Since the virus cannot be killed, it has to be kept in a dormant state in order to control the outbreak of symptoms. Condyline and Warticon are some of the reliable treatments available to control the human papilloma virus. The main cause of genital warts remains sexual contact. HPV-6 and HPV-11 are the two strains of HPV responsible for almost 90% cases of genital warts. Unprotected sexual contact in any form - oral, vaginal or anal with a partner infected with HPV can be the manifestations of the causes of genital warts. A mere touch of the infected area without penetrative intercourse can also spread the virus. Multiple sexual partners also increase the risk of spreading the genital wart virus. The two strains of the human papilloma virus are the main causes of the spread of genital warts.

Genital warts: The symptoms

Genital warts might not cause pain but can cause discomfort during sexual activity and affect hygiene at the most sensitive genital areas. The probability of getting infected with this infection is very high due to two major factors - sexual activity cannot be avoided and the modes of spreading of this virus are aplenty. Sexual activity is an inherent need of the human body and cannot be avoided for a long time. The virus spreads through even a simple contact with an area of the body containing active virus. This means that even non-penetrative intercourse, oral sex or anal sex cannot deter the virus from spreading. Body contact with active virus is the only necessary condition and cause of spread of this virus.

The virus can remain inside the body for weeks or months and sometimes years without causing any outbreak of symptoms. When the virus is in the active state, it can cause outbreak of symptoms such as fleshy growths on and around the genitals. In men, the warts might appear on the penis under the foreskin and cause discomfort during sexual activities. In women, they might appear near the vagina, genital area and labia. They can be big or small, smooth or rough, itch-less or itchy and are usually painless. Warticon and Condyline are some of the effective genital warts treatments available to control the infection from spreading. They are also effective in curing the symptoms while having the ability to keep the virus is the dormant state with regular usage.
