The Easy Way to Learn Forex Trading

April 08, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 103

By now, you have probably met or heard of someone who trades and might even trade the Forex. I can remember all those Forex infomercials that would play on the cable channels during 2005 through out 2009. Almost all of the commercials boasted statements like "It's so easy that a ten- year old boy can do it." Oh, and my favorite one was, "Just Buy when the green arrow appears and Sell when the red arrow appears."

Where are all of those people now? Those commercials made it look all too easy but let me tell you, after 11 years of trading many different markets, trading isn't easy and it takes real work, lots of study and a great deal of discipline.

But there is an easier way, you can find someone with the right experience to teach you.

You still need to put in the work to accomplish your goal of becoming a successful trader but this brings up the key question, do you really want to become a successful trader or do you just want to make some extra money and then get out with a little bit of money?

I started my trading career probably like most people do, I had a dream, looked around on the internet and bought some books on the topic of trading. Since that didn't discourage me I decided to spend some money on a trading course that turned out to be nothing more than the free information on blogs and forums.

Still, I was determined. My goal was to become a successful trader not just to make the money. I knew the money would come to me if I could succeed in this business. So I will outline what I think is the easy way to learn Forex trading based on my experiences.

Instead of buying books from the book store, try your local library. Keep in mind that some libraries are better funded than others and offer a better selection than some so check out more than just the libraries in your neighborhood.

The next thing I recommend if you find some books that you would like to purchase is to check out the reviews that people have posted have comments on that particular book. The Forex trading books section on Amazon is a good place to start or you could check out my Forex trading books list here.

Before jumping into purchasing an expensive trading course (the one I bought was $2000. and consisted of free information found on forums) I would recommend purchasing a e-book course for under $100 that has been written by an experienced trader.

The e-book written by an experienced trader will consist of different ways to avoid wasting your money on unnecessary services and courses. They will also write about "real" tools that you can use right now to start seeing results from your trading efforts. The kind of results that translate into cash in your trading account.

Usually an introductory e-book course (if well written by an experienced trader) will not only save you lots of money but it will also point you in the right direction to start your trading career without making the usual mistakes that put beginners and novices out of business.

So what is the easy way to learn Forex trading? Remember to start off slow and with an open mind get the right support from an experienced trader. This will save you literally thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars and years of pain.

Most mentors provide some free material like articles and videos on their website so you can get a feel of how they trade, their philosophy and trading system before you purchase any material from them so be sure to check it out and don't forget to ask a lot of questions. If the mentor is serious about helping students, they will give you as much support as possible.
