Do You Need a Criminal Background Search Service?

February 17, 2012 | Comments: 0 | Views: 130

Any idea who your teenagers are hanging out with? While you may think that just by getting names and numbers, that you are protecting your children, this is scarcely enough to know who's company they are in and if they are protected. This is why making use of a criminal background check is in your best interest and also, that of your children.

My personal Story:

My daughter was about 8 years old and loved going one block over to swim in her friends pool. I'm in my mid 40's and grew up in a time when things were different. When people were for the most part honest. Everyone knew their neighbors.Imagine my shock and terror when I found out the father of my daughter's friend was a convicted rapist. Thankfully, nothing happened to Daisy (my daughter), but it could have. Never trust your kids to anyone if you haven't done a thorough criminal background on them. It's just not worth it.

Do you need a criminal background check service? The simple answer is: most definitely. Why? There are several reasons why almost any person who has any group of neighbors, friends, and co-workers should always run background checks on the people in their lives. Do you presume that all the people you know are honest, trustworthy, honorable? That's what most people think, and it is often the reason they fall victim to violent crime or scams. Take a look at why you need a background check below.

Of course, you would like to presume that the bloke that your daughter is courting is not a criminal, that the neighbor next door is not a sentenced offender, and that your new friend from the gym is not a con artist. Unfortunately, the person we would like to trust in is not always who they appear to be. So, bottom-line, not all the people you know from the neighborhood, the health club, or even fellow parents, and the like, have the good-natured history you normally attribute to them. Plus, the more individuals that you associate with, the more of a possibility there is that someone maybe a wolf in sheep's clothing.

We all tend to Trust more than we should...

One of the most compelling reasons to do a background check is in basic terms for the amount of trust we provide people, without genuinely knowing them. All of us let our neighbors watch our kids because they seem nice, we let our family members associate with strangers, and we give personal facts on our households and homes to essentially anyone with a heartbeat. You may not believe that you do but in all likelihood, you do. Do you let your neighbors know when you are leaving out of town? Do you let your kids play at their neighbors' houses without knowing the full past history of their parents and family members? Have you ever told a person in passing where you are located, what your schedule is, or who lives there? Of course you have, and this is the trust that most people unwittingly give away to individuals they should probably be doing background checks on.

Why Take a Chance with Your Child's Life?

While most all of us undoubtedly like to have faith in the high caliber of our fellow human beings, and trust in the good of our neighbors; unfortunately, in this day and age we just can't. This is resulting from two obvious reasons: that there are too many incidents of crime, child molestation, robbery, rape etc, and that the people in our lives are too important to trust their lives and well-being with practical strangers. Does it sound melodramatic or paranoid? Well, in some cases the neighbor or friend of your friend is in fact cleared from any criminal transgressions, county criminal records, criminal database, warrants, etc, but what if they aren't? What it comes down to is: will you be willing to take the risk?

The thing is in today's society, you really have no excuse not to double check that the people in your immediate life and neighborhood are free of any criminal history; as conducting a criminal background check on them is no longer as tricky, time consuming, or pricey as it once was. The peace of mind regarding the overall safety and dependability of your neighbors and associates takes a matter of seconds, barely any money, and can be done confidentially.

So which background service to use? Well you need something 100% legal and dependable.
