Durham has a varied calendar of annual events for visitors to enjoy, be sure to book Durham hotels in advance to make sure you don't miss out! From guided walks and tours to food festivals and Regattas to music festivals, there is an event for everyone to enjoy in this cultural, historic city. Spring in Durham sees an influx of visitors and a diary of special events. Foodies will love the Bishop Auckland Food Festival in April, while steam engine and railway enthusiasts won't want to miss the four-day Great North Steam fair at The Beamish Museum. Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair also visits the city in April and is perfect for lovers of all things vintage.
